As an operations guru, I've served several organizations in senior management capacities. I enjoy meeting our clients and helping them articulate their organizational goals and coordinate their efforts toward becoming productive, efficient, and competitive. I create strategic plans, communication processes, and visually appealing products that set our clients apart from their competition. I am the chief executive and operating officer for ASC® and work to ensure our clients have optimal experiences on multiple platforms. I am also the owner The Harlem Trucking Company®, a freight and logistics brokerage dedicated to the safe, efficient delivery of goods and Harlem Works, an assets preservation and management company.

CEO AND PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
As a communications executive with more than 20 years of experience, I provided brand management, business development consulting, creative and executive writing, design, and publishing services. Later, I decided to combine these skills with my passion for progressive leadership, education, and content development; and for more than 10 years, I have created organizational development (OD) and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) systems, policies, training curriculum and materials that are used in corporations and districts across the country. Most recently, ASC® introduced an emergent initiative that provides equity education–the Social Justice Collaborative®. I hold a master's and doctorate degree in education and leadership and I enjoy providing solutions for more inclusive working and learning environments. I am an Intercultural Diversity Inventory (IDI) licensed coach, a certified Restorative Practices® trainer, and Critical Friends Protocol facilitator.

STEFANIE
EXECUTIVE COACH
As ASC's managing text editor and writer, I aid in the development of purposeful, powerful messaging that speaks to intended audiences. I've had the pleasure of editing textbooks, organizational policies, mass-produced publications, scholarly journals, and magazine articles. I've served as an educational business administrator and trainer for over 15 years and have more than 35 years of non-profit leadership experience. I have a degree in Organizational Leadership and am a Society for Human Resource Management–Senior Certified Professional (SHRM–SCP).
JAMES
GRAPHICS SPECIALIST
I am THE solution for stunning illustrations. I enjoy helping clients realize characters they've envisioned and bringing their publications to life. I specialize in pen and ink illustrations and my process includes digitizing images for easy print or electronic media and animation. I am the proud illustrator of all ASC publications and we continue to develop stories and artwork that resonate with readers everywhere.
SARAH
SOCIAL JUSTICE CONSULTANT
I am a social worker, clinical supervisor and anti-violence social justice advocate who utilizes responsive, research-based teaching and coaching methods. As a facilitator and coach, I am always grateful for the opportunity to create spaces where we can learn, grow and effect change together. I believe kind, purposeful, and accountable engagement (across the array of cultural identities we all hold) is not "just" the right thing to do. It is a critical skill set for any individual or organization to be successful in our complex, diverse world. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. While I am a proud New Jersey native, I am live in New York City with my husband and son.
I am a gifted empath with a passion for helping people find and believe in their self-worth. I have been independently studying the world of mental health and life coaching for the past 10 years. She has immersed herself in the work of the leaders of the field and studied their work in depth. My thirst for knowledge and understanding of mental health has allowed me to grow a vast toolbox for help dealing with many of life’s issues, both simple and complex. Her fascination with the nuance of life coaching fueled her to develop an approach to coaching based in love and understanding. I started La Belle Vie Coaching with a vision to help those struggling to realize their self-worth. I'm an avid reader, activist, lover of music and art, unapologetically empathic, and steadfast in my desire to make the world a better place.
MELODY
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
I am ASC's business manager and executive assistant to the CEO. I help address client needs and assist in developing realistic, yet rigorous goals as we collaboratively plan for the future. I have over a decade of non-profit marketing experience, serving as a marketing manager and the managing editor of a major regional publication. I'm also a secondary educator, and enjoy combining creativity, scholarship, and relationship-building.
KRISTIN
LEAD EDUCATION CONSULTANT
I am thrilled to be working with ASC as the lead education consultant. With 30 years of experience in higher education, I've had the opportunity to serve as a community college faculty member, division chair, academic dean, and chief academic officer, as well as serving as a research faculty member with three universities, including Tennessee State University. I have published over 2 dozen scholarly journal articles and chapters, including publishing in the Journal of College Student Development, Journal of College and University Law, Community College Journal of Research & Practice, and Qualitative Inquiry. I also worked as a Fulbright research scholar at the University of Limpopo in South Africa conducting a 3-year project on democracy and education. I have extensive experience serving on institutional committees including academic assessment, promotion, curriculum, retention, budgeting, and financial aid. I hold an undergraduate degree in accounting from Baylor University, a master’s degree is in literature from Truman University, and a doctorate is in educational policy analysis from the University of Missouri Columbia.
